Landscape Design

Take back your lawn.

Whether your HOA neighborhood is pressuring you to fix up your struggling lawn or you just need a total upgrade, TX Natives can make your yard the talk of the neighborhood.

Sustainable Spaces for Texans to Gather

We believe that yards are spaces to be enjoyed. We also believe that they shouldn't require tons of maintenance or huge amounts of water.

Tx Natives always uses native Texan plants and other well-adapted perennials to create landscapes that are built to last in this environment.

How it Works

  • 15 minute phone chat – Free
    • We’ll discuss your goals, budget, and whether my approach aligns with your vision to ensure it’s a good fit.
  • In-person consult – $350 (up to 2 hours)
    • During this consult, I’ll take precise measurements of your yard, including topography, slope, grade, and other key features (this is normally a $900 value through a GIS company). You’ll receive these measurements for your reference, whether we move forward together or not. We’ll also walk through ideas specific to your micro-environment, covering plant choices, soil conditions, sun patterns, and what will or won’t work in your space. You will receive a recorded presentation with details from our conversation for your reference.
  • Design without implementation – starting at $1,500
    • Consultation is required before proceeding to the design phase. We deliver a thorough, in-depth presentation that starts with a plant palette tailored to your yard. From there we move into space planning, hardscaping, irrigation, and custom planting designs. Presentations typically range from 15-30 slides and are recorded with commentary and sent to you for your viewing convenience. 3D visualizations are available for an additional fee.
  • Consult + Design + Implementation – Total project cost
    • If you decide to have TX Natives handle the full project, the consult fee is waived, and the design cost is incorporated into the final project cost. Most residential projects start at approximately $15,000. Unknown irrigation and drainage issues often drive these costs.
